01 / ABOUT THE GAME
Spades suits players who enjoy teamwork, prediction, tactical card play, and reading how opponents respond to each trick. Partner mode rewards communication through play, while Solo mode suits independent competitors.
Created in the United States in the 1930s, Spades remains widely played there and later reached an international audience through online card rooms.
Every hand combines a clear target with uncertain information: you must estimate your tricks before play, then decide when to protect a partner, spend a high card, or use a trump.
02 / FEATURES

Choose Classic Spades, Joker Joker Deuce Deuce, Jokers High, or Deuces High. Nil Bid is available only in Classic Spades and Jokers High.

04 / HOW TO PLAY
A standard four-player hand uses a 52-card deck, with 13 cards dealt to each player. In Partner mode, players seated opposite one another form a team.
Before play, each player bids the number of tricks they expect to take. A partnership aims to win at least the total of its two bids; Solo players pursue their own bids.
The player who leads chooses a card. Everyone must follow that suit when able; a player who cannot follow suit may play another suit, including a trump Spade.
The highest card of the led suit wins unless a Spade is played; then the highest Spade wins. The trick winner leads the next trick, and Spades remain trump throughout the hand.
After all tricks are played, results are compared with the bids. Nil Bid is offered only in Classic Spades and Jokers High in this game; other scoring details can vary by the selected variation.
