A standard four-player hand uses a 52-card deck, with 13 cards dealt to each player. In Partner mode, players seated opposite one another form a team.

Before play, each player bids the number of tricks they expect to take. A partnership aims to win at least the total of its two bids; Solo players pursue their own bids.
- 03
The player who leads chooses a card. Everyone must follow that suit when able; a player who cannot follow suit may play another suit, including a trump Spade.
- 04
The highest card of the led suit wins unless a Spade is played; then the highest Spade wins. The trick winner leads the next trick, and Spades remain trump throughout the hand.

After all tricks are played, results are compared with the bids. Nil Bid is offered only in Classic Spades and Jokers High in this game; other scoring details can vary by the selected variation.

Can I play without an internet connection?
No. Spades Frenzy requires an internet connection and cannot be played offline.
What happens when my coin balance is low?
When the balance drops below 100,000 coins, the game adds 200,000 free coins.
Which modes and variations can I play?
Choose Partner or Solo play across Classic Spades, Joker Joker Deuce Deuce, Jokers High, and Deuces High. Nil Bid is available only in Classic Spades and Jokers High.
Does Spades Frenzy show ads or take a commission?
No. The game is ad-free, and no commission is deducted from the winner's virtual prize.
Do I have to follow the suit that was led?
Yes. If you hold a card in the led suit, you must play one. Only when you cannot follow suit may you discard another suit or play a Spade.
What wins a trick?
The highest Spade wins if any Spade was played. Otherwise, the highest card in the suit that was led wins the trick.
